- Abstract
- en_US Both art and narrative are lively and playful. FC and GA offer excellent illustrations from this fine piece of work. The crow holds a sausage in his beak, a plate with another sausage in one foot, and a knife and fork in his hands, while a wine-bottle and glass sit perched in the tree! The version of the latter transforms the traditional ending: one last ant who appreciates his music opens her home to the grasshopper. Enjoy the development of the narrative of OF as family members shout that they love the frog as he is! I like this book a great deal.
