- en_US Here is the forty-second fascicle. Pages 657-672 plus a jacket. This fascicle first finishes "The Spider and the Swallow." It then presents "The Partridge and the Roosters"; "The Dog with Cropped Ears"; "The Shepherd and the King," including a full-page illustration highlighting the two contrasting figures; "The Fish and the Shepherd Who Plays the Flute," with an idealized full-page illustration of a woman fishing while her friend plays. The fascicle closes by giving the beginning of the text for "The Two Parrots, the King, and His Son."
