- Abstract
- en_US This is a curious book that counts its title-page as "3" although there is no page ahead of it. It is a large-format (9" x 12½") volume of 29 pages presenting 12 pages of Uncle Remus but also "Popop Écologiste" featuring Daisy Duck and "Mickey et la Sirène du Lac." Where did those latter two come from? Uncle Remus' story here, "Basile Détective," centers around Basile the fox and Bibi the hare and, apparently, their efforts to woo Mimi the female hare. Disney apparently holds a 1977 copyright. I did not bother with the two added Disney stories.
