- Abstract
- en_US The friendly snake lets the porcupine stay with him when others have refused this prickly guest. Soon the snake is annoyed and asks the porcupine to leave. "If you have a problem," the porcupine says, "you have to go and find a new place." The stated moral is "Help according to your means." There is one problematic passage: the porcupine "told the snake that I he was very fine living here." True to this series, there are colorful announcements about Green Life Printing, Green Ocean paper, and soy ink. The publisher's symbol seems to be two purple heads reading an open red book. There is a page of vocabulary on the inside back cover, with a picture of all six books in the series on the back cover. The pamphlet is twelve pages long, About 7½" x 6¾".
