- Abstract
- en_US This educator's guide follows the sections of the exhibition. Its main contribution is to add questions which teachers can put to students about the fables, French life then, and American life now. The only visuals added to those in the other guides are Billinghurst's The Animals Sick of the Plague, Rabier's FS, and Doré's GA. This latter chapter, like that in the overall guide, presents the dilemma of La Fontaine's version of GA well. With whom is one to sympathise here? What a lovely gift from Eleanor!
