- Abstract
- en_US An oversized pamphlet with cardboard covers. The fables inside are listed on the cover. The front (mother and child pig) and back (piper and pig) cover illustrations seem to have nothing to do with Aesop. Each of the twelve fables gets one page for its fable and its one colored (blue and orange) illustration, except for the last two, which are only black-and-white. In GA, the grasshopper starves and dies. In SW, there is a nice graphic anthropomorphisation of the wind grabbing the cloak. In DS, there is a girl pulling the dog's tail while the action is going on. As so often, the store owner had forgotten that he had this book on his shelves.
