Abstract: en_US This is an attractive large ( 9 x 11¾) pamphlet of twelve pages, with strong full-page colored illustrations. The version of BF follows La Fontaine. The crow here is named Ursula. Notice the chicks playing tug of war with a borrowed feather on 10. Her fellow crows receive her back at the end of the story. Perhaps the cover illustration is the best, since Ursula's eyes are the most patently vain there!
