- en_US This is a small book, with separated covers. T of C on 229, with morals listed. The coarse woodcuts are intact. There is a compelling beginning picture of Aesop. Only the first book contains Aesop, in fact fifty-four fables, with a small illustration for each. Book II has fifty-three modern fables, and Book III new inventions by Dodsley. This edition has at the bottom of each page the first word of the following page. The book is in good condition except for its covers.
