Abstract: en_US This booklet is one of twelve published by Rekos in Greek, apparently upon the designs done by Susaeta for a European-language edition. Its sixteen pages display excellent and lively colored illustrations. Perhaps the outstanding illustration of this version is the two-page centerfold of the fox contemplating his plan to get the crow's cheese. A portion of the following two-page spread serves as the cover illustration. I like particularly the following spread of the crow happily singing, the cheese falling, and the fox reaching up to catch it. Nicely done!
