- Abstract
- en_US Here is a strange little eight-page pamphlet that seems to be a dialogue between two fabulists, Carolus Pererius and Joannes Comirius, S.J. At first there is an introduction and then a fable, Mus, Feles, & Muscipula, that is, The Mouse, the Cat, and the Mousetrap. Pererius responds in an iamb, which is followed by an address to Comirius, followed by another fable, Leo Aeger, Vulpes & Lupus, that is, The Sick Lion, the Fox, and the Wolf. Burrowing into the medieval Latin verse here will have to wait for another day!
