Abstract: en_US This booklet is one of twelve published by Rekos in Greek, apparently upon the designs done by Susaeta for a European-language edition. Its sixteen pages display excellent and lively colored illustrations. As in several other members of this series, the editors cleverly take an excellent two-page spread -- here of the ant carting off an acorn and the ant sleeping -- and compress it to form a suitable cover picture. The artist cleverly pictures the grasshopper's winter plight by having him knock on the ant's window. We see the scene from inside the ant's bedroom.
