- en_US This is a large-format (8½ x 11) classroom book of 65 pages. It aims at providing students with the opportunity of sharing in the cultural heritage that Aesop's fables have provided us but without the barriers of complicated syntactical structures. It also aims to help students to apply the lessons of Aesop's morals to everyday life situations. Either of two sections offers vocabulary for five fables, study questions, five application stories, and evaluation. The cover illustration may be among the best; it is repeated on 1. It shows Aesop seated with a group and talking.
