- Abstract
- en_US The set includes sixteen pamphlets, five of which are fables. Each is 3¾ x 5½ in size, with fairly cheap paper. One holds the 32-page book in portrait fashion, with both pages exposed. The upper page contains a line or two of La Fontaine's text in a simple frame. The lower page has a picture to color. My favorites here in FC are the moment of pride for the crow, found at the very center of the pamphlet, and the moment of enjoyment for the fox on the very last page.
