Abstract: en_US Here is the long awaited sequel to a wonderful book of fables. The format remains the same, though the fascinating sidebars seem less frequent. For me, nothing can compare with the original Woods "Kalila and Dimna," but this is a fine successor. It seems harder to keep track of the story's point in this version, but that may have been my experience during a first reader of "Volume One." The convolutions of stories here are intense! My favorite little story after a first reading is "Bleeding Dead Men
