Abstract

en_US Among my favorite kids' books. What a potpourri of stuff! Often delightfully illustrated. Each volume has from two to seven copyrights. One Aesop's fable per volume (except for Volume 4) by various writers and illustrators. There is a crow and fox on the inside covers, but no such fable here. Hmmm.... This volume contains The Reed and the Oak in verse, apparently by John Martin, with an illustration signed C.
