- Abstract
- en_US Three Aesopic plays among thirteen. The Lion and the Fox is well done. The crow is the messenger. The cow, the horse, and the pig enter and do not exit. Moral: Beware. A friend may not be a friend even when he or she says so. LM seems more rudimentary. GA has the ant carrying food, fixing the roof with a hammer, and gathering firewood. The grasshopper wants to spend the whole winter with the ant! The audience has to tell the actors what to do when the grasshopper makes his request.
