- Abstract
- en_US Here is a lovely little pamphlet that is one of a set of three. Eight pages, 4" x 4". Parker the peacock is conceited. He "looks down his beak" at other birds, including Casper the Crane who happens by one day. Parker shows off and even says "I expect you're pretty impressed with me, aren't you?" It happens to be raining. As he is about to take off, Casper says to Parker "But the fact is I can simply choose to leave all this rain behind me and I can follow the sun – whenever and however often I want." Left alone, Parker "hung his head a little." "Looking beautiful is never the most important thing in the world!" Lovely color work! Madpac offers some matching fabric items for babies, like a swaddle.
