- Abstract
- en_US Franc-Nohain had previously done nine books of fables in various editions, including the edition I have of the first three books. Now this book contains Books 10 through 12. The book is very fragile; its connection with the cover has been lost. I tried several of the fables here, but my French does not quite reach far enough to comprehend them. Is the illustration on the back for the fable of the dog with a casserole tied to his tail (17)?
