- en_US This reader, in the same series with another that I have listed under 1909, offers seven fables. Three take only a few lines and are presented almost as page-fillers: GGE (14), DS (43), and FG (58). Two are presented as dialogues: The Lame Man and the Blind Man (20) and The Farmer and the Stork (72). Why the Bear Is Stumpy-Tailed (32) is offered as A Norse Folk Tale. FS (34) includes two illustrations. The others are done without illustration. The spine is deteriorating on this old schoolbook.
