- Abstract
- en_US One of the craziest books I have found. The whole small-format book (except for one introductory page) is done in the phonetic alphabet. Slow and difficult reading! Fifty fables, each with a stated target audience. The fables seem to be one step from Aesop; in the first, a dreaming maid crushes eggs instead of spilling milk. There is an alphabet at the front and advertisements at the back for other phonetic books.
