- Abstract
- en_US A big question is How does this book relate to the 1857 edition I have? Is the 1857 edition perhaps a reprint of the first series? Compare the story here of The Dog and the Crane with The Dog and the Stork there. Aesopic fables I notice here include Stone Broth and The Mouse and the Oyster. There is an alphabetical table of contents with engravers' names. Excellent engravings.
