- en_US This boxed special edition has a woven cloth cover with imbedded designs of Thurberesque animals. It also features red edges on the pages all around, red print on the spine, and further imbedded designs on the spine. As I wrote of the first edition, this book contains delightful stuff that deserves mention in my lecture. The best items here are The Lion and the Foxes, FC and Variations on the Theme (together), and GGE. I am not sure which of the illustrations are worth taking: perhaps the title page? Perhaps taking one of the FC variations is the way to work Thurber into a lecture.
