- Abstract
- en_US The dashing hare in spring knocks over the slow-going tortoise, and the tortoise in anger challenges him to a race. The hare sits down during the race to wait for the tortoise. For his victory, the tortoise wins a lifetime of sweet lettuce and carrots from the hare. Two words strike me as odd: woken up and crosser. Might they be Anglicisms?
