Two singing mice in very different worlds exchange roles after a "battle of the bands." Each gets a day in the other's world. The thrill of the city and the quiet of the country wear off for them, respectively, and they want to get back to their old lives. They end up singing together at the next night's celebration. The musical moral that they sing is "Be yourself! Everyone else is taken!"
