- Abstract
- en_US This pamphlet of 48 pages contains, apparently, twelve fables, as the T of C on 2 seems to indicate. I seem to recognize familiar characters here and wonder several times if this story is our fable. For example, two men, one blind and the other lame, are involved in the story on 6-11. Is the story on 30-34 the story of the fox and the wolf travelling different directions in the bucket of a well run with a pulley? The clearest fable, I believe is that about the fox and the vineyard (35-39): "You entered skinny. That will have to be the way you get out." Some help in deciphering the stories comes with the vocabulary at the bottom of the page, in which a few words are translated into both Russian and English.
