- Abstract
- en_US The back cover declares "Classic fables get twisted about and turned inside out in this series of full-color comic books for kids!" This adaptation of GGE ends up morally uplifting. Chad and Valeria are cousins living in the filthy rich Worthington family mansion. His drone crashes with a goose, and Valeria saves the goose, who happens to produce golden eggs. When the family learns that she is harvesting golden eggs for her college fund, they want to make this goose into an investment for the family, already filthy rich. Petunia the goose produces for them only stinky rotten eggs. She already had a proclivity to break wind and people found the fumes noxious! When it comes to a showdown, Petunia spoils the whole mansion with a barrage of rotten stinky eggs, and the family departs to their summer home. Thenceforth, Petunia's flock enjoys the hospitality of the luxurious Worthington home. At the end of the book, the traditional tale is told, and there is a careful analysis of the divergences from the traditional fable.
