- Abstract
- en_US This is the story of a cow fleeing from a pursuing lion. She discovers a cave but then learns that a selfish goat inhabits the cave. Even though there would be room for two, the goat will not allow the cow in. The cow moves on, not because she fears the goat but because she fears the lion. "If I did not need to save myself, I would stay and you would see how strong I can be." The stated moral is "It is better to look out for yourself than to waste time fighting or arguing with others." The publisher's symbol seems to be two purple heads reading an open red book. There is a page of vocabulary on the inside back cover, with a picture of all six books in the series on the back cover. The pamphlet is twelve pages long, about 7½" x 6¾".
