- en_US This is a delightful book, and so encouraging for my sense of fable! It is a paradise of parodies! The book has eight sections according to characters in the fables. The drawings are simple but forceful black-and-white. Some of the French idiom escapes me, but many are clear enough to enjoy. I started from the back and found so many favorites that I had to stop writing them down. My overall favorite is GA (57). Other good parodies are GGE (60); "Crow and Ram" (64); "Weasel in a Granary" (69); "Coach and Fly" (73); TH (78); OR (85); and "Forest and Woodman" (88). 5" x 8".
