The album also includes several other pieces not by La Fontaine. Side A includes 9 fables and two other pieces. Side B has 8 fables and two other pieces. Virgile seems to be a writer and telecaster at work in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. A book of his fables was published in 1958. YouTube offers some of his TV broadcasts. Of course, the special feature of this 33 LPM record is that it is in “Bruxellois.” A photograph on the cover of the statue of the pissing boy underscores that special feature.
