- Abstract
- en_US Very pleasing art to present a cogent story. Among the best illustrations is the first for the wind's storm. The sun itself announces the moral in proclaiming victory over the wind: As you can see, it is easier to influence people with gentleness than with force. Notice that the ISBN summary on the back of the title page gives the misguided version of the fable, which the book itself and the flyleaf both avoid! For them, the bet is rather about who can tear the cloak from the back of that man. Extra copies for $14.95 from Dundee, Nov., '92; for $8.10 from Midway, Nov., '94; and for $7.50 from Laurie, Oct., '95.
