- Abstract
- en_US A pleasing enough elongated fable with four good Cruikshank engravings. The wasp lures the bee into sin; by the end everyone, including the bee's wife and children, is dead. There is even time for a song and a chorus. This may be a good example of the popularity which fable once had as an effective contemporary literary genre. This booklet is in good condition for something 130 years old.
