It is wonderful to be able to put my hands on this first English Bidpai. The text and orthography are archaic. There is a long T of C on lxviii-lxxx. After an extensive introduction, Jacobs offers a pedigree of Bidpai literature inserted at lxxx. Quinnam points out that the illustrations here (eleven woodcuts) are reproductions of the early illustrations. There is also a gravure frontispiece. Neither this or the extra copy is numbered.
