How nice to receive a book from the Ukraine in the midst of their struggle and misery with Russian invaders! I presume that this is something of a standard French publication, perhaps often, as here, meant for prizes in academic competitions. Here it went to Hélène Kozak for 2nd place in an "Olympic" contest of French students. The inscription is signed "Chaise de français." The 33 Doré illustrations are here rendered adequately. This is another find on Ebay for much less than the price might have been! 251 pages. T of C at the end. 7½" x 10¾".
