Abstract

en_US
This is a particularly curious find in that it relates closely to a pamphlet already in the collection, with a possible date of 1955 and the same title from the same publisher. That is labeled a third edition and seems to be marked as #17-18 in a series. It has 72 pages. One copy on the web has an inscription of 1957. This copy, by comparison, has a different cover image by the same artist, Sevki. It is half the length (30 pages), has the same texts as that copy, is labeled #17, and has a date of 1948. We are apparently dealing, then, with an earlier single portion of what later became a double booklet. The images in this presumably earlier booklet are often simpler. The typesetting of texts is different; the texts found there on 7-33 are here on 5-29. The "Dear Children" introduction on 5-6 is omitted. This copy cost us less than a quarter of what that copy cost. My, what turns up when you look for things!
