This is Volume 4 of 6 volumes, 3¾" x 5¾", comprising Books VII and VIII. There is nothing here beyond the fables, preceded by the dedication to Madame de Montespan. The illustrations are numbered #139 through #183. Among those I find strongest are "The Daughter" (12); "The Coach and Fly" (21); "The Bear and the Gardener" (63); and "The Rat and Elephant" (76). The seller notes the beauty of the binding with comments I quote under the first volume of the six.
