Here is our third presentation of this book, based closely on the French version of 2015 and related to the Spanish version of 2016, both by Larousse. This Portuguese version has the same cover designs as the French, but without the raised figures of the French version. The publisher has switched to Porto Editora. It lists a person responsible for adapting La Fontaine's French to the Portuguese here. Otherwise, my comments on the French version also fit here. This large hardbound book, about 11½' x 9½", has in its 91 pages the eight booklets published as the "Collection Les Fables de La Fontaine" by Larousse. These attractive booklets only become more attractive by their larger presentation here. These stories present a lively introduction to La Fontaine for smaller children. The back cover features one character from each of the stories.
