Here is a typical Tusculum edition: careful, exact, and highly informative. After a T of C and an introduction, this thick (368 page) little volume makes its way through lesser and better known medieval Latin fable groups. The greatest portions go to Directorium humanae vitae, the Munich Romulus, and Odo. Among the various appendixes, the ten or so pages on FC would make a fascinating study. Schnur died while preparing the book. In this collection we also have two different editions of his "Fabeln der Antike," though I am still looking for the first edition of that book from Heimeran in 1978.
