Abstract: en_US Here is a curious book. A quick glance at the back reveals that it is a print upon demand book, printed like so many others in La Vergne, TN, shortly after it was ordered. Here the printing date is April 4, 2011. I had ordered the book on April 3, 2011. Unlike some other print upon demand books, it has its own cover featuring orange flowers. The next surprise -- for me, at least -- comes in the author's stated purpose. Most of all I hope to make a new copy available so the reader can re-live the joy of these fables learned from early youth (8). That is as much introduction as a reader will get. Fables start from there on 9 and run through 100, where they stop abruptly. There is no T of C, and there are no illustrations. A curious person might ask what the editor did for this book.
