Abstract: en_US This book in poor condition with some missing pages seems identical with the 1929 printing I have listed under 1918/29. I will repeat comments from that edition: Could this be the first book I have that was published in Nebraska? Ten fables are sprinkled along the way, each with a fine blue, orange, and white illustration. The Crows and the Dove (102) usually features the stork and cranes. FWT (152) is well told. Others fables here include AD (22), The Timid Rabbits (70), FG (78), The Boy and the Nuts (94), The Donkey and the Salt (124), GGE (156), The Hare and the Lion (158), and SW (poorer version, 180).
