en_US Wow! Here is a sturdy little book of Italian fables published in London and sold in New York! After a short preface, there are 205 numbered verse fables on 410 pages. At the back there is a T of C, organized, like the book, according to the eleven authors represented. I had not even heard of many of these! What a great little find! Now I need to learn Italian…. For some reason, the title-page misses Rossi, who has fifteen fables here. Wow! Here is a sturdy little book of Italian fables published in London and sold in New York!
