This is a McLoughlin publication as I have come to know them: deteriorating spine; heavily inked illustrations; heavy and crumbling paper. There is a section "Aesop's Fables" near the end. Just above that title on the first of these unpaginated pages is this header: "Fables from Easop." There is one fable to a page for seven pages. The fables offered here are DLS; OF; FS; LS; "Jackdaw and Doves"; FK; and WL. Each page tends to have a reproduction of the Caldecott illustration and one other, simpler illustration. This was a surprising find when I stopped on the way to a relatives' reunion in an out-of-the-way antiques shop in a town near our reunion. Lucky find!
