Here is a very nice edition of Reineke produced by the publisher famous for the Kaulbach edition, starting with 1846. Our collection has a version from 1857. An online guess puts this edition at about 1900. This edition has a version of the original embossed front bookcover and adds red ink to the first and second title-pages. By comparison with that version, this copy has not 204 pages but 212. The illustrations are very well rendered. The illustration sometimes kept out of editions, I believe, is here on 36. Gothic script. I find fable illustrations here on 105; 117; 153; and 156. 7¼" x 10½".
