Elizabeth Baynton Markoe (1750s-1795)

She was the second wife of Abraham Markoe. She came from one of colonial Pennsylvania’s prominent families. They met and got married in Philadelphia in 1773. Their marriage linked the Markoe name with the established Philadelphia society. They had six children, however their first three kids died in infancy. John Markoe was their youngest son.
