Abstract

en_US This book takes an original approach to presenting its thirty-one Aesopic fables, giving sets of three or four or six fables in the midst of the other literature. The translation is standard and not acknowledged. David Frankland does all of the Aesop illustrations in the nostalgic style he used in Aesop's Fables by Robert Mathias (1983). They are satisfactory.
