Abstract

en_US This book is in an unusual almost-square format (8¼ x 8). It contains three fables (BW, CP, and TH) with pleasant and lively colored illustrations. The covers and borders offer a pleasing synthesis of green, gold, and grape. The illustrations include good statements coming out of characters' mouths and written on their banners. There are two holes punched along the left border. Text ©1965 Western Publishing Company. It is surprising that I had not come across this book earlier, and even more surprising that I could get it so economically.
