James B. Williams

Dr. James B Williams was born on May 28, 1919 in El Paso, Texas. He was a distinguished physician, advocate, and a member of the armed forces. Through his long and distinguished career, he broke racial barriers in both medicine and the military. His advocacy and medical service has helped pave the way for greater equity in the institutions he was a part of. As such, his life and works are worthy of long-overdue recognition and discussion.
